As they live in Hong-Kong, Joana and Simon preferred the beautiful village of Sintra to celebrate their wedding during the Summer Solstice over getting married in an idyllic Asian venue. The first guests started to arrive at the end of a popular festive period in portugal, the Santos Populares. As a welcome (and thank you) gift, they took part in numerous events. Meeting friends they hadn’t seen in a while, from all over the world, along the Tagus, walks on the hills of Lisbon, an afternoon with the bride’s friends on Tamariz beach, and a barbeque as the closing event. Many guests fell in love with Portugal and promised they’d be back.
